Norsound NOR910 Intumescent Lock Mask is a pre-cut graphite intumescent mask designed to protect a compatible European sashlock installed within a fire-resisting timber doorset.
The 1mm material is positioned around the recessed lock case before the sashlock is mechanically secured within the door leaf. Under fire conditions, the graphite intumescent reacts and expands into available spaces around the metal lock body, helping protect the surrounding timber and support the performance of the complete doorset.
