Norsound NOR755 Acoustic Perimeter Seal – 26.5 × 5mm is a surface-mounted, screw-fixed acoustic door seal designed for installation around the head and jambs of suitable doorsets.

Clean the silicone gasket and aluminium cover using a soft cloth and a mild cleaning product compatible with aluminium and silicone.

Avoid:

  • Strong solvents
  • Abrasive pads
  • Sharp scraping tools
  • Paint or varnish over the gasket
  • Unapproved lubricants or adhesives

Important Performance Note

Correct carrier positioning, secure fixing, continuous joints and suitable gasket compression are essential to the performance of the NOR755.

The product does not independently create an acoustically rated, smoke-control or fire-resisting door.

Final performance depends on:

  • The construction of the door leaf
  • The door frame and stops
  • The perimeter gaps
  • The continuity and compression of the silicone gasket
  • The door-bottom and threshold seal
  • The meeting-stile arrangement where applicable
  • The glazing and ironmongery
  • The frame-to-wall junction
  • The quality of installation and maintenance

For certified or performance-rated doorsets, install the NOR755 only in accordance with the applicable test evidence, assessment and door-manufacturer instructions.

The standard pallet service time scale is an estimated 2-7 working days.

We have Next Day, Specific Day and Saturday options, which you can choose at the time of placing your order (UK mainland only).

When your order is processed and given to our courier, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery date.

Our standard pallet service offers delivery to the kerbside. Couriers will not be able to move pallets or goods inside the property.

For parcel deliveries, we will use a courier service.

Each item will be carefully packaged and distributed to our courier after being dispatched from our warehouse.

You can collect your order from our store. At checkout select "Local Pickup". We will notify you when your order is ready for collection.

Delivery & Returns FAQs

If you are not home when delivery is attempted, the courier will usually leave a card or contact you with the next steps.

Depending on the courier and service used, they may attempt re-delivery, leave the parcel in a safe place, or take it back to the depot.

For pallet deliveries, someone normally needs to be available to accept the goods, as these are delivered kerbside and cannot usually be left unattended.

If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it.

We can usually make changes before the order has been processed or dispatched, but once it has entered production, packing, or shipping, changes may no longer be possible.

Our team will let you know what can be amended and whether any additional charges apply.

If an item is currently out of stock, please contact us to check availability.

Some products can still be ordered on a lead time basis, while others may be temporarily unavailable from the supplier.

We will advise you on the expected timescale and whether a suitable alternative is available.

In some cases, parcel deliveries may be left with a neighbour if you have given delivery instructions and the courier allows it.

Pallet deliveries are less flexible, as they usually require the goods to be accepted in person at the delivery address.

If you would like delivery left with a neighbour where possible, please let us know in advance and we will note this on the order.
